Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services. By scheduling or accepting work from Sikerte Technologies, you agree to the following.
Effective Date: March 4, 2026
Services
Sikerte Technologies ("Company," "we," "us") provides professional IP and low voltage solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients in the Denver metro area and surrounding Front Range communities. Our core offerings include:
- Security camera systems (IP, HD-analog, PTZ, dome, and bullet cameras)
- Digital video recording systems
- Access control systems (key fob, card reader, biometric, and cloud-managed)
- Alarm systems (intrusion, motion detection, door/window contacts)
- Structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optic, patch panels)
- Remote monitoring setup and cloud system configuration
All work is performed by licensed, low voltage–certified technicians. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services that, in our professional judgment, would violate applicable codes, regulations, or safety standards.
Quotes & Payment
All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise noted. Quotes are based on a site assessment and the scope of work described at the time of the estimate. Changes to scope — including additional equipment, cabling runs, or structural modifications — may result in a revised quote.
Payment terms are as follows:
Invoices unpaid beyond 15 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month. Sikerte Technologies reserves the right to place a lien on the property for unpaid balances in accordance with Colorado lien laws.
Installation & Warranty
Sikerte Technologies warrants all labor performed against defects in workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of project completion. This warranty covers re-installation, re-termination, or adjustment of any work found to be defective due to our installation practices at no additional charge.
Equipment and hardware are covered under the respective manufacturer's warranty. Sikerte Technologies will assist in facilitating warranty claims on your behalf where possible. The labor warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from misuse, power surges, vandalism, or acts of nature
- Equipment failures caused by third-party modifications or unauthorized service
- Normal wear and tear on consumable components
- Issues arising from client-side network changes (e.g., ISP changes, router replacements)
Service calls outside the warranty scope are billed at our standard hourly rate. Emergency service is available 24/7 and may be subject to after-hours rates.
Client Responsibilities
To ensure a successful installation, clients agree to:
- Provide safe and timely access to all areas of the property required for installation
- Ensure that existing electrical, network, and structural conditions are disclosed prior to the site assessment
- Obtain any required permits, HOA approvals, or landlord authorizations before work begins (we can advise, but permitting is the client's responsibility)
- Maintain adequate power and internet connectivity for system operation and remote access
- Notify Sikerte Technologies of any changes to the property or system prior to our return visits
- Use installed systems in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
Limitation of Liability
Sikerte Technologies' total liability to any client for any claim arising out of or related to services rendered shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss or theft of property occurring despite the installation of security systems
- Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to networked devices
- Business interruption, loss of revenue, or reputational harm
- System outages caused by power failures, ISP downtime, or network disruptions outside our control
- Failure of third-party monitoring services or cloud platforms
Security systems reduce risk but do not eliminate it. No system can guarantee complete protection from all threats.
Monitoring Services Disclaimer
Sikerte Technologies installs and configures security systems but does not provide live 24/7 central station monitoring unless explicitly stated in your service agreement. If professional monitoring is part of your package, it is provided through a third-party monitoring partner, and their own terms and conditions will apply.
Clients are solely responsible for the lawful use of surveillance equipment on their property, including compliance with Colorado recording consent laws and any applicable federal statutes. Sikerte Technologies bears no liability for any recordings captured by systems we install.
Intellectual Property
All proposals, system designs, drawings, and documentation produced by Sikerte Technologies remain the intellectual property of the Company until full payment has been received. Upon receipt of final payment, clients receive a license to use these materials for the purpose of operating and maintaining their installed systems. Resale or redistribution of these materials requires written consent from Sikerte Technologies.
Privacy
Sikerte Technologies collects contact, project, and billing information necessary to perform our services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except as required to complete your installation (e.g., equipment vendors, permit offices) or as required by law.
For full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
Sikerte Technologies reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services following a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage clients to review this page periodically. Material changes affecting active projects will be communicated directly.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or services provided by Sikerte Technologies shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Denver, Colorado under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party shall bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
